Pet Travel Requirements by Destination

Travel rules depend on where your pet is coming from, where you're going, species, document history and sometimes the route itself. These destination guides turn current primary-government guidance into practical checklists without hiding the conditions that change the answer.

How to use these guides

Start with your destination, then confirm the guide's origin and species scope. A country page is not a universal rule for every route. Each reviewed guide identifies its source-review date and links the responsible government authorities used for legal entry requirements.

Why route details matter

Origin can change the rabies pathway. A titer or extra waiting period may depend on where the pet has been, not just the final destination.
Species can change the rule. Dogs, cats, ferrets, birds and other pets do not always use the same documents.
Travel arrangement can change the movement category. Accompanied, authorized-person and unaccompanied/cargo movements may follow different rules.
National overrides still matter. Shared EU rules do not erase France-specific restrictions such as rules for certain regulated dogs.

How YourPetPass verifies travel requirements

Country entry, export, transit, quarantine, health, vaccination, treatment, permit and customs rules are researched against the responsible government authority for the jurisdiction. Airline sources are used only for an airline's own carriage or service-animal policies; airport sources are used for airport-specific logistics. Each destination guide carries a review date so time-sensitive rules can be rechecked.

We deliberately avoid generating a separate indexable page for every possible route permutation. A new route should add a real regulatory distinction or decision before it becomes a separate public page.
