YourPetPass ("we," "us," or "our") is a pet health records and travel planning platform operated by RD Marketing LLC. Our service is available at yourpetpass.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated through your use of the service.

Account and profile information:

• Name, email address, and password (or Google sign-in credentials)
• Phone number, mailing address, and country of residence
• Profile photo and social media handles (if you choose to provide them)
• Emergency contact information

Pet health records:

• Pet name, breed, date of birth, weight, color, and microchip number
• Vaccination history, medications, allergies, and vet visit records
• Uploaded documents (vet records, health certificates, ESA letters, service animal certifications)
• Pet photos
• Service animal or emotional support animal status

Travel information:

• Trip origin and destination, travel dates, airline, and flight number
• AI-generated travel checklists and completion status

Payment information:

• Subscription and billing information is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Usage information:

• Pages and features you access, actions you take within the app, and timestamps of activity
• Device type, browser type, and IP address
• AI feature usage (document scans, travel checklist generations) for rate-limiting and cost tracking

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and provide the core features of the service
• Store, display, and export your pet's health records and travel documents
• Generate AI-powered travel checklists and document analysis on your behalf
• Send transactional notifications — vaccine reminders, travel document deadlines, and account updates
• Process subscription payments and manage your billing
• Analyze how our users interact with the platform so we can improve features, fix issues, and build new tools
• Send you updates, product announcements, and information about services or offers that may be relevant to you as a pet owner — including from trusted partners we believe will provide genuine value to our users
• Respond to your support requests and troubleshoot problems
• Comply with legal obligations

You can opt out of non-transactional communications at any time through the email notification settings in your account, or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personally identifiable information. We share information only as described below.

Service providers: We share data with vendors who help us operate the platform, including:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — application hosting
• Stripe — payment processing
• OpenAI — AI document scanning and travel checklist generation
• Resend — transactional email delivery

These providers are contractually bound to use your data only as needed to provide their services to us.

Aggregated and anonymized data: We may use aggregated, de-identified information — such as general trends in pet vaccination patterns, popular travel routes, or breed health data — for analytics, research, product development, and with marketing or analytics partners. This information cannot be used to identify you or your pet.

Public emergency profile: If you generate a QR Health Card for a pet, that pet's basic health information (allergies, emergency contact, vaccination status) will be accessible to anyone who scans the QR code or visits the associated link, without requiring a login. You control whether this feature is active.

Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or prevent fraud.

Business transfers: If YourPetPass is acquired, merged, or its assets are transferred, your information may be part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Your Data Is Yours

Your personal data and your pet's health records belong to you. We are custodians of that data, not owners of it. You can:

• Export your records at any time using the Export feature in the app
• Delete a pet's records from within the app at any time
• Delete your account by contacting us at our contact page — we will permanently delete your account and associated data within 30 days
• Correct inaccurate information by editing your profile or pet records directly in the app

6. Your Privacy Rights

For users in the European Union / EEA (GDPR):

Our lawful basis for processing your data is (a) contract performance — processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for — and (b) legitimate interests — improving our platform and communicating relevant offers — balanced against your rights. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data. You also have the right to object to certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at our contact page.

For California residents (CCPA):

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 7. Data Retention

We retain your account and pet health data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records for a longer period.

Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement purposes.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and server-side handling of all sensitive API keys. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

9. Children's Privacy

YourPetPass is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The app may contain links to third-party websites (such as government veterinary agencies or airline pet policy pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or a notice within the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of YourPetPass after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
